NYX Blush In Mocha

Hi beauties!
Fall is here, so I wanted to share with you one of my blushes that's great for this season. NYX Mocha is a medium matte red pink.

Like the rest of the blushes in this line, this one comes in a shiny black rounded square compact with a snap closure. The packaging is small and compact. The powder itself has a 3D pyramid design. Each blush weighs 0.18 oz / 5.2 g.

The color reminds me a little bit of berries, a pretty red pink shade, and has a matte finish. The formula is very pigmented, smooth, and is easy to blend on the skin. The blush lasted about eight hours on my cheeks.

I really like this blush and if you are on the hunt for a color like this, I would definitely recommend it to you.
NYX Blushes retail for about $6. I think this is a pretty good price for the amount of product you get, considering the quality.

MAC Paint Pot - Soft Ochre

Hi beauties!
I recently started using the Soft Ochre Paint Pot by MAC. I've heard people talk about it for years, so a couple of weeks ago I decided to switch things up and give this shade a try.

MAC Paint Pots are cream eyeshadows that can be worn alone or used as a base under other eyeshadows.

Soft Ochre is a light nude cream with yellow undertones.  It is completly matt. This shade is a little bit lighter and more yellow than The Painterly Paint Pot, which is more of a beige/pink nude. In general I would say if you have warm undertones, Soft Ochre would suit you best.

The paint pot applies on the skin like a creamy concealer. It can be blended sheerly, or layered for full coverage. This color would make a great primer for people with light to medium complexions.  On deeper complexions, it would work great for brightening the eye area to apply lighter shadows.

After trying it for a couple weeks, Soft Ochre is now my go-to everyday primer. I love the consistency, it keeps my powder eyeshadows bright, and it doesn't crease on me!

MAC Paint Pots retail for around $19 and can be purchased wherever MAC cosmetics are sold.

Leopard & Triangles

Hi beauties :)
Sorry for the lack of text in this post, guys! But I have been sick the last few days so all I want to do right now is relax and drink a cup of tea. Next week I'll do a little giveaway for you, so keep an eye out for that!

Anyways, today I have a new nail design for you that I did a week ago. It's a simple leopard print with an white and gold accent thumb & ringfinger.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR - Pomegranate Punk

Hi beauties :)
You probably already know that I love the Color Tattoos by Maybelline, so it's not really surprising that I bought another one. This time it's the much more fall appropriate - Pomegranate Punk ($6.99 for 0.14 oz.).

Pomegranate punk is a metallic burgundy with fine silver shimmer.

The product comes in a sturdy clear glass jar, with a black screw-on lid that closes very well. Overall the packaging is very similar to MAC's paintpots.

The texture of Pomegranate Punk is smooth and easy to blend, not quite as silky as the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad To The Bronze or Tough as Taupe because the shimmer particles are slightly larger but still amazing. Comparable if not better than MAC Paint Pots in terms of smoothness and blendability.

It needs about 2-3 layers to get good coverage and pigmentation and stays without an eyeshadowbase almost 6 hours on my (oily) eyelids.

I really like this cream eyeshadow and would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a great burgundy eyeshadow, the color would especially look good on people with blue or green eyes because it would make your eyes stand out.
You can wear it as a base, as an eyeliner or solo.
